A rubber dam is a dental device used to isolate a specific tooth or teeth during dental procedures. It consists of a thin sheet of latex or non-latex material that is stretched over a frame and secured around the tooth with a clamp. The primary purpose of a rubber dam is to create a dry and isolated field, improving visibility and preventing contamination from saliva and other fluids during dental work. This course takes you through all the steps of rubber dam discussion and you will have a demonstation video at the end of it.
