Learning Objectives

By the end of the 2-Day Hands-On FMR Workshop, participants will be able to:

• Understand the diagnostic principles, treatment objectives, sequencing, and clinical workflow of Full Mouth Rehabilitation.
• Record and transfer the facebow accurately using appropriate reference points and protocols.
• Perform Centric Relation (CR) recording and assess its repeatability and accuracy.
• Apply Dawson’s Bimanual Manipulation Technique for obtaining a repeatable CR position.
• Transfer the maxillary arch relationship to a Hanau articulator and verify the accuracy of the transfer.
• Mount maxillary and mandibular models accurately on the articulator.
• Perform Broadrick analysis to evaluate occlusal curvature and establish the posterior occlusal plane.
• Interpret occlusal records and articulator findings for effective FMR treatment planning.
• Understand tooth preparation principles, including reduction, finish lines, occlusal clearance, and path of insertion.
• Perform selected tooth preparations on working models under faculty supervision.
• Fabricate accurate putty indices for provisionalization.
• Understand and perform the provisional fabrication workflow, including loading, seating, removal, trimming, contouring, finishing, and polishing.
• Evaluate occlusal contacts using articulating paper and shimstock and perform necessary adjustments.
• Identify and troubleshoot common errors during the FMR workflow.
• Integrate records, occlusal analysis, preparation, temporization, and final checks into a systematic and predictable FMR clinical workflow.
