About the Speaker
Dr. Swarna Meenakshi P, BDS, MDS, is a Periodontist, Implantologist, and Laser Specialist, with specialized training in Periodontics and Implantology from Saveetha Dental College and Hospital, Chennai. She is currently the Clinic Proprietor of RAAMS Dental Care and Implant Center, Tiruchirappalli.
Her clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of periodontal and implant procedures, including periodontal flap surgery, periodontal plastic surgery, dental implants, peri-implantitis management, ridge augmentation, minimally invasive periodontal therapy, and soft and hard tissue laser procedures. Her clinical experience includes over 300 flap surgeries, 40 implant placements, 60+ laser-assisted procedures, 60+ periodontal plastic surgeries, and extensive non-surgical periodontal therapy.
Dr. Swarna has a strong academic and research orientation, with 13+ publications, multiple scientific poster presentations, and research work focused on periodontal regeneration, lasers, and periodontal therapy. She has also received recognition for her scientific poster presentations, including first- and second-place awards at Saveetha Transdisciplinary Annual Research Summits.
With her combination of clinical expertise, research experience, and commitment to contemporary periodontal therapies, Dr. Swarna brings a practical and evidence-oriented perspective to periodontal and implant dentistry.
