Dr Vivek Mahale is a dedicated endodontist from Bangalore with a strong clinical focus on minimally invasive dentistry, complex retreatments, and the management of iatrogenic errors. He is widely recognized for his exceptional expertise in separated instrument management and bypass techniques, an area where precision and decision-making are critical to tooth preservation.
During his postgraduate training, Dr Mahale successfully completed 150 separated instrument retrievals, earning dual world records from the Golden Book of World Records and the Raaba Book of World Records in 2025. He is the first endodontic postgraduate to achieve this milestone during formal training, reflecting his commitment to meticulous technique, documentation, and clinical excellence.
Dr Mahale has received multiple academic and clinical accolades, including Budding Endodontist of the Year, and has won several national-level paper, poster, and table clinic presentations focused on instrument retrieval and complex endodontic challenges. He is also a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy (USA).
An active academic contributor, Dr Mahale has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on topics such as instrument retrieval techniques, troughing depth analysis, and advanced endodontic problem-solving. Through his lectures and webinars, he is known for translating complex procedures into clear, step-by-step, clinically applicable protocols.
