About the Speaker
Dr Priyanka Lekhwani is an MDS in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Dr. D.Y. Patil Dental College and Hospital, Pimpri, Pune. She completed her BDS from MGM Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai, followed by her MDS from Mahatma Gandhi Dental College and Hospital, Jaipur.
She has a strong academic and research background with multiple national and international publications, book contributions, and ongoing research projects in pediatric dentistry, behavioral management, and preventive care. Her research interests include child psychology and behavior management, pediatric preventive and restorative dentistry, pediatric endodontics, interceptive orthodontics, and management of children with special health care needs.
Dr Lekhwani has received several academic awards and recognitions, including best paper presentations at national conferences and a Most Cited Paper Award at the ISPPD National Conference. She is also actively involved in mentoring research projects, reviewing scientific manuscripts, and contributing to academic publications.
With experience as both an academic faculty and consulting pediatric dentist, she combines clinical expertise with evidence-based teaching. Her sessions focus on practical, child-friendly, and predictable treatment approaches, making her a valuable contributor to continuing dental education programs.
