About the Speaker
Dr Manisha Nair is a Pediatric and Preventive Dentist with extensive experience in managing complex pediatric dental conditions and delivering child-centered, evidence-based care. She completed her MDS in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry from Saveetha Dental College and Hospitals after earning her BDS from Sathyabama Dental College and Hospital.
She has further advanced her clinical expertise with an Associate Fellowship in Laser Dentistry from the World Clinical Laser Institute and a certification in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy from the Australian Academy of Orofacial Myology, Sydney.
Dr Nair has significant academic and clinical experience, having served as an Assistant Professor at Sri Ramakrishna Dental College and Hospital and SRM Kattankalathur Dental College, and currently working as a Senior Lecturer at Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery and Hospital, Vikarabad, while also practicing as a pediatric dentist at FMS Dental Hospitals, Hyderabad.
Her clinical expertise includes pediatric rotary endodontics, esthetic crowns, interceptive orthodontics, laser dentistry, trauma management, and management of tongue ties and sleep-related oral dysfunctions. She is also proficient in full mouth rehabilitation under general anesthesia, nitrous oxide conscious sedation, and intranasal sedation, allowing her to manage complex pediatric cases safely and effectively.
An accomplished academician and researcher, Dr Nair has authored multiple publications in national and international journals and received several academic awards during her postgraduate training. She is passionate about improving pediatric oral health outcomes through innovative, minimally invasive, and child-friendly treatment approaches.
Her lectures focus on practical clinical insights, interdisciplinary care, and evidence-based pediatric dentistry, making her a valuable contributor to continuing dental education programs.
