FMR 2-Day Hands-On Workshop-Mastering Full Mouth Rehabilitation: From Diagnosis to Occlusal Harmony

Full Mouth Rehabilitation requires a systematic approach that brings together accurate diagnosis, comprehensive records, occlusal analysis, treatment planning, tooth preparation, temporization, and final occlusal verification. This intensive 2-day hands-on workshop is designed to take participants through the clinical workflow of FMR, from initial records and jaw relation procedures to preparation, provisionalization, and articulation checks.

The workshop begins with the fundamentals of FMR diagnosis, records, treatment planning, sequencing, and treatment objectives. Participants will gain hands-on experience with facebow recording, Centric Relation (CR) recording, Dawson’s Bimanual Manipulation Technique, and transfer of the maxillary arch to a Hanau articulator. They will then mount models and perform Broadrick analysis, followed by interpretation of articulator findings and occlusal analysis for effective FMR treatment planning.

On Day 2, the focus shifts to the restorative phase, covering tooth preparation principles, reduction, finish lines, occlusal clearance, and path of insertion, followed by supervised hands-on preparation on working models. Participants will fabricate and evaluate putty indices and provisional restorations, including trimming, contouring, finishing, and polishing.

The workshop concludes with articulation checks, occlusal contact verification using articulating paper and shimstock, occlusal adjustment, troubleshooting, and review of common errors encountered during the FMR workflow.
