Dr. Saurabh Chalke is a skilled Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with advanced training in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstruction. He completed his MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from D.Y. Patil University, where he developed a strong foundation in surgical principles and oncologic care.
He further strengthened his expertise by completing a prestigious Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology at FHNO (Foundation of Head and Neck Oncology Center), one of India’s leading organizations for cancer education and research. He also completed an apprenticeship in microvascular free flap reconstruction under the renowned Dr. Akshay Deshpande, where he gained hands-on experience in complex reconstructive techniques.
Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Chalke is widely recognized for his educational outreach. He is the founder of the MedicalBiceps Instagram page, followed by over 7,000 healthcare professionals, and the MedicalBiceps YouTube channel, which has more than 27,000 subscribers and regularly garners over 5 lakh views per video. His content focuses on surgical education, clinical learning, and simplifying complex medical concepts for students and practitioners.
Currently, Dr. Chalke practices exclusively in oncology and microvascular surgery across multiple hospitals in Mumbai, where he is committed to delivering high-quality cancer care and advancing surgical outcomes through precision-driven techniques.
